New York: John B. Alden, 1888. Hardcover. Very good. Bound in publisher's original red cloth with spine and cover stamped in gilt, cover stamped in black, and bevelled edges. All edges gilt. Beautifully illustrated with woodcuts by Doré on every other page, in black and white. Wear to head and heel through cloth. Wear to corners. Text block clean and tight, with one signature semi-detached.
