Hutchinson and Co, 1904. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1904. No Edition Stated. 390 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth with gilt titles to front and spine. Publisher's adverts to rear. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper with bookseller's embossed stamp. Minor warping and bubbling to pastedowns. Gutters slightly cracked. A few dog-eared corners. Text block edges are uneven. Boards have heavy edge wear, with bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Joints worn too. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall with faint water staining. Spine is noticeably sunned. Gilt is bright.
