Mikes, of Hungarian birth, became most famous for poking fun at the British and foreigners and foreign lands. Here, he satirises Countries behind the Iron Curtain - just as the Cold War was bedding in. The dustjacket of this book is grubby but has little wear. The corners and spine head and foot have mild shelf wear. The dj is intact and robust. The blue cover is in good, happy condition. The contents are clean, unmarked, content, healthy and assured. fk.
