VERY GOOD book in FAIR price-clipped dust jacket The author was drawn into the freedom struggle at at college-age, when he was charged with the murder of an Englishman, and held without trial in jails in and outside Bengal, re-arrested under Defence of India rules and held as a security prisoner (he subsequently earned an Oxford doctorate and worked for the UN). This book of his reminiscences span four years in the vortex of a revolution - a fascinating, authentic first-hand account.
