One of 100 copies. 8-3/4" x 5-1/2". 100 [i.e., 200] pp. Text printed sideways, such that each set of facing pages forms a single page of text and only the rectos are numbered. Grey cloth stamped in gilt, with gilt illustration. Minor wear to extremities; pencil and ink notations to verso of front endpaper; ownership blind-stamp and ink publication date to title page; considerable ink notations to bibliographic reference section (pp 88-100). Reprint of the 1963 Macmillan publication, with illustrations by William Pène du Bois.
