Portrait frontispiece is signed by Charles Sheldon; There is a nice, non-addressed, inscription by Sheldon on the blank front free end page that reads in full: "Very Cordially and with / Best Wishes for all of / Life. / The Author / Charles M. Sheldon / Topeka, Kansas / October 13, 1942 / A Christian is a person who / loves people he does not like"; Blue cloth covers show a little rubbing, some slight soiling, and light moisture stain across upper edge; Lettering is just a little rubbed, though remains clear and bright; Volume remains tight and is otherwise very clean and intact.

Fine bindings, plate books, signed and inscribed items are an important part of my collections. Smaller, though intriguing collections of other genre are also a part of my holdings.
