About This Item

New York, N.Y.: Atheneum Books (an Argos Book), 1979. First Edition, Second Printing. Hardcover in blue cloth. Very Good/Very Good. A choir boy loses his soprano and is sent to be messenger drummer, there, he strives to find and pursue his dream. The third volume in the Harper Hall Trilogy.

This is a very good, collectable or readable copy. Price-clipped with some toning to the dust jacket as well as some chipping and a tear or two to the jacket. This book is long - it's dimensions are 5.5" x 9.5" so I imagine the top sticks up on shelves. I will protect the jacket with a new Brodart cover prior to shipping. SLight tilt to spine. Very clean interior. Scarce in this form and an early printing (2nd).

Cover art by Fred Marcellino.

About Librariana Fine Books

We believe that a library is much more than a room or a space. A library is a place to work, rest, love, think and dream. It is the heart of the home.

Our mission is to help individuals, families and organizations furnish their bookspaces in a way that reflects their personality and values.

Beginning with fine books, and extending to other "librariana" - art, antiques and collectibles that make a space a library. We also repair books, and consult with home owners, organizations and bookstore owners looking to make their bookspaces into purposeful sanctuaries.

Whether your bookspace is a corner shelf in a bedroom, or a grand corporate space for meetings and work, Librariana can help "improve your library".
