About This Item

London: Phoenix House Ltd., (1949). Review copy. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, plainly but boldly titled, is slightly toned at the spine and very lightly crumped along the top edge. It has not been price clipped and shows the original '12s 6d net' price. The boards are free from notable chips and marks and bound in a fine magenta weave with embossed titles. The text blocks are bright and white throughout. Each of the ninety-one illustrations are present. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a nice review copy.
