Edited, with an introduction and annotations by George Watson. The combined set presents the entirety of Dryden's critical writings and have been "conservatively modernized." This complete edition followed the abridged edition of 1912. An entry in Everyman's Library "Essays and Belles Lettres" series. E.L. no. 569. --- In Everyman's Library larger format binding style 4. Full plum cloth-covered boards with spine titling and interlocked "EL" at tail of spine in copper-toned foil; orange topstain.
