About This Item
John Murray, London 1947 hardcover, 7¼" x 9¾", with red cloth spine Previous owner's name inside front cover (dated 'Oct '47). Hand-soiled covered. Book in GOOD condition Following a course in joint making, it is suggested that the pupil undertake a project from the eight in Group One, followed by another from Group Two (16 offered). He then moves to the Advanced Group (40 projects available). The elasticity of the scheme is purposely designed to stimulate independence of outlook by meeting the needs of apt or inapt, and fast and slow workers. The provision of Bench Procedure notes in both Groups is intended to encourage the timid and restrain the reckless. Projects range from kitchen stools and toast racks to pedestal cupboards and tool boxes.
