Signed by author and illustrator and published in an edition of 968 copies of which this is #47. An epic poem on the life and times of the early settlers of Western Canada, complete with glossary and historical notes. Very light wear, many pages unopened. Rough oval area at top edge of front board, evidence of a small label's removal near that as well, otherwise fine. No slipcase. Peel (3rd) 5592.
