Faded stamp on free front endpaper. Slight age yellowing to outer edges of pages. Fascinating collection of works by Isaak Emmanuilowitsch Babel (1894-1940). Babel was executed by the Stalin regime for supposedly spying for the West which of course was a lie. Translated from Russian into German by Dmitrij Umanskij. Good condition.
