This book was first published in 1945 under the title of "Night Club", but due to war rationing of paper only a small run was printed. This major reprint of this book was published under the author's original title of "Dressed to Kill" and was printed just prior to his contracting an illness and dying in 1951. Mario Zona was frightened and thought he was slated for murder.
