About This Item
Large 8vo, original brown cloth backed decorative boards with cowboy illustration on front cover, dust jacket, illustrated, xii, 241 pp. Very minor shelf wear to jacket, light rubbing, tears, soiling, and some minor abrasions; volume spine leaning slightly, offsetting to endpapers, ink inscription to front free endpaper. Near fine in a very good or better jacket; scarce in this condition. Will James (1892-1942) was a drifter, dreamer, artist, story teller, and cowboy. In his early years he was even a cattle rustler, and actually did some time in the Nevada State Prison for these activities. This work is his second book, which follows the theme of the first, showing the good and bad side of a cowboy’s life.
