Red cloth with gilt sp. lettering and impressed lettering to fr., generally clean and unworn but sp. and back outer & top edges sun-faded, small nick to top sp. f/piece + xiv + 2nd half-title + 227 + 8 (pub.list), 50 further ills, 8 being ex-pag. plates; very sm.single name top fr. end-paper, 1st half-title and final pub.list page tanned, spot of same to fr. end-paper outer edge. seems to be a short thin stretch of dust centre fr. gutter and faint hint of edge tanning throughout, typical of this period. Apparently very scarce. 14 cm x 22 cm
