Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Spine ends bumped. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. Small bookshop sticker on front free endpaper. Pages clean and unmarked. 503 pages. Color illustrated dust jacket has light surface rubbing, a few smudges, chipped and nicked edges, and small tears. Jacket spine is lightly sunned. Jacket flaps list Grosset & Dunlap's "Novels of Distinction". Published by arrangement with Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc. This is Walpole's Rising City, vol. 1. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
