Each proverb is printed in Arabic letters, in Arabic transliterated to the Latin alphabet, and translated into English, follwed by a similar English proverb, comparison, or short explanation. Humorous sketches illustrate each page. The English forematter is repeated in Arabic at the back of the book (which of course is the front for readers of Arabic!) Very good, clean, unmarked copy.
