About This Item
New York, New York: Barnes & Noble Books, 1995. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. Volume itself has purple and bayish covers with gilt lettering on the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. There are a couple of creases on the inside of the front dust flap. The author of the book thoroughly documents and analyzes the famous duel that history knows as the battle between the Monitor and the Merrimack. The analysis is based on letters, diaries, and memoirs of men who lived through the battle itself and of those who witnessed it. Interior of book is clean and binding is tight. A very nice copy.
