The internment of 2542 Germans & Austrians either political or racial refugees, in Australia, after being deported on the HMT Dunera. The book was written without access to the most relevant documnent, which had been placed under a 100 year embargo by BOTH the British and Australian Governments. A previous owner has covered the book in a clear contact plastic which is slightly yellowed.
