London: George Philip & Son, Ltd. in association with "Time and Tide", 1947.. Map dimensions 48 x 108 cm, overall 91.5 x 117.5 cm (incorporating illustrations and "legend"). Large colour map charting Churchill's wartime travels across Europe, the North Atlantic, north Africa and the Middle East, with underneath the map 10 panels illustrating in colour the aeroplanes and naval ships that conveyed him along with a central coloured key to the map listing the voyages. A bright and clean example in remarkably good condition given that it is not mounted on linen. The first issue of this map sold on a single flat sheet, the map was reissued in 1956 in a folded format.
