Top edge stained green, others uncut, xii + 298 pp 16 pp of monotone photo plates and 1 line map.First Edition 1961. Good/ Good (Book- mild fading to extremities of boards, moderate foxing to uncut fore and bottom edges of book block, no previous owner name or insc. Dust Jacket- shelf soiling, 5 x 20 mm chip top front panel near spine fold, non price clipped - cover 25s, dust spotting to fore edge of rear flap fold, now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve to which a piece of coloured paper has been inserted where chip, to mask the stark white of the backing paper so as not to offend the eye on the bookshelf. No other notable defects to book or jacket).
