She was a British nurse during World War One and is celebrated for saving the lives of soldiers by helping them escpe from German occupied Belgium. Cavell was sentenced to death and shot in 1915, she is buried in Norwich Cathedral, Norwich. This copy was bound with two outer wrappers; else a near fine copy of an UNCOMMON undated later printing.
