About This Item
No Place: Jonathan Williams / Jargon, 1961. Second printing. Paperback. Very Good. Tall sewn wrappers. Unpaginated. First edition, second printing of the poet's first book. Published as Jargon Sixteen by Jonathan Williams. Handset, printed and bound at the Windhover Press. Frontispiece by Joe Fiore. Typical light cover soiling. A very good example. This copy INSCRIBED by the poet to "Krem + Barbara the first ... Joel 1/30/82. The name Krem is short for the artist Irwin Kremen (artist associated with the Black Mountain School which Oppenheimer also attended. Kremen also held close associations with MC Richards, John Cage and Merce Cunningham). Black Mountain association copies are few and far between for Oppenheimer publications.
