Holt, Rinehart and Winston. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1979. First Edition. Hardcover. 0030409012 . Red hardcover. Signed on half title page by author no inscription just his signature. Has former owners name and stamp in front of book on first end paper (not on page signed by author). Dust has been price clipped otherwise book and dust clean and bright. Dust is in mylar cover for protection. Author was son of former mayor of Warsaw and had same name. He served in the underground fighting Nazi occupation from age 12-15. The author kept a journal during his time as a freedom fighter in Warsaw and thirty-three years later transcribed it into this book along with more than 150 photos which he collected over the years. After WWII Julian studied Architecture in England and the U.S. and obtained a PhD in City Planning from the Warsaw Institute of Technology in 1966. ; Illustrated with Photos; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 304 pages; Signed by Author .
