Good. Softcover. No publication date but timetables are dated to Nov. 2, 1897. Tan wraps with dark brown cloth on spine. Wraps have heavy creasing and soiling, including a dampstain near the foot of the spine, affecting content. Page 185 has 2" of damage; pages 94 and 99 are torn along the top edge. "A. B. Steinbach & Co. , Salem, Oregon" rubber stamp on front wrap. Overall good. Subtitle: "Embracing an alphabetically arranged list of 9000 names of persons who reside and trade in the capital city, together with their occupations and addresses. An up-to-date map of the city, a view of the new city hall, boat and street car time tables, complete fraternal directory." The b&w map and the illustration of city hall are both housed between pages 100 and 101. The map spans two pages, and public offices, schools and railway stations have been numbered and indexed. Local advertisements are printed throughout the directory. ; 24mo 5" - 6" tall; 191 pp .
