Fine-/VG. 16 Cms x 24 Cms. 264 pp., 46 monochrome plates on 8 leaves ex-pagination; t.p. inscribed 'All good wishes/ Mea Allen'; Previous owner's small printed name & address label top front pastedown, faint hint of fading bottom edge of front cover, otherwise clean, tight, unmarked and unworn; clipped jacket in protective sleeve as acquired appears clean and minimally worn - very slight edge rubbing in a few places. Bowles was an eminent pioneering gardener and Royal Horticultural Society member for over 50 years. A very good copy of this fascinating man.
