Ginn and Company, 1905. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. Very Good+ ; Fair Jacket. 1905 Ginn and Company. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has maroon pebbled cloth-covered board with gold spine and cover lettering; front cover also has gold filigree decorations surrounding title. Black and white plates. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Book is in excellent condition with only a hint of shelf wear at the spine ends and light soiling to the page edges. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated 1908. Pages lightly and uniformly tanned but still supple. A few pages have light handling smudges; pages otherwise clean and unmarked. 142 pages. Brown paper dust jacket with black lettering has overall surface rubbing, chipped and nicked edges, small to 3 inch tears, and creases. Largest tears have been repaired with archival document tape. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
