This book is in near fine to fine condition the dust jacket is in very good shape with only one tiny tear along front top edge (less than 3/16) withsome aging in color in a protective mylar cover. It is the story of Marcus Geladius whose Roman father and native British mother were killed by Irish raiders when he was a child. He became a distinguished soldier, rising to the command of the XXth legion, the Valeria Victrix.
