Mimited edition #271 of 500, good oversized (9 by 11 1/2 approx.) hardcover (no dust jacket) shows some light shelf wear includign a couple nicks at edges, touch of soil at page edges and front endpaper torn out with bit of tearing at inner hinge. 597 pages loaded with black & whites. Still a solid copy of this work of "Collected Notes Concerning Developmental Cartridge Handguns in .22 Calibre As Produced in the United States and Abroad From 1855 to 1875 with Subsequent .22 Calibre Handguns Created Before the End of the Nineteenth Century.
