Previous owner's signature ("B.F. Wells, Manila, P.I., P.O. Dept. 1901) in pencil, to front pastedown. Covers Cayuse War, Rogue River Wars, and The Yakima War. A good, solid copy of an increasingly scarce and important historical resource in Western Americana. Frances Auretta Fuller (Barritt) Victor (pen names: Florence Fane, Dorothy D.)
