Limited Edition, One of 500 copies, 1954, designed and printed by Lawton and Kennedy, San Francisco, Book is 9.5 inches in height by 6.65 inches in width, 302 pages including notes, bibliography and index, fold out map in rear shows the locations of early inns, black and white photo frontispiece with several black and white plates and text illustrations. Books is near Fine, just a trace of sunning to spine, hardly noticeable. Book in never read condition, No previous owner book plate or writing, quarter bound black cloth spine with bright gilt title to spine, red paper boards with diamond pattern, un trimmed fore edge. An ultra clean and mst presentable Limited Edition protected in its original mylar cover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
