Bindings somewhat scuffed and tips bumped, but still quite handsome, foxing to front matter and text block edges. Good. § Fifth Edition. Morris’s third book and one of his most successful. A verse epic in which medieval Norsemen in search of paradise discover a city where the Greek gods are still worshipped. Twice a month the travellers and their hosts exchange tales of Classical mythology and medieval legends and sagas. These two volumes include the Apology, Prologue, address to the Reader, and the poems of March to August.
