Jarrold & Sons, London, 1893. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1893. Second Edition. 344 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper & half title page. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges cracked, thus the boards are slack. Some gutter cracking. Binding staples at title page have rusted, leaving small brown stains. Mild wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with scuffing, staining and marking to boards. Small splits (approx. 1cm) to spine ends. Book has a forward lean.
