About This Item
New York: The Viking Press, 1938. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good -. SIGNED BY INGRI AND EDGAR PARIN D'AULAIRE on the half-title. A solid copy to boot of the 1938 1st edition -- AND IN THE UNCOMMON PICTORIAL DUSTJACKET. Clean, tight and Near Fine in a bright, price-clipped, VG- example of the fragile dustjacket, with wear at the panel and fore-edges and chipping along the spine (with 2" paper loss at the crown). One other chip as well along the top-edge of the jacket's rear panel. Still though, attractive and very presentable --and uncommon as such. Quarto, six etchings and sixteen wash drawings by Ingri and Edgar Parin d'Aulaire.
