London: Williams and Norgate, 1860. Hardcover. First Edition. 5.5 x 9in. ix. 443pp. Publisher's textured cloth boards with paper title label. The former copy of noted Unitarian minister Charles Henry Brigham with his signature and date at the front paste-down. Brigham later donated the volume to the Meadville Theological School with all their typical indicators and markings. GOOD. Shows the extremities marginally shelf rubbed, spine tanned, otherwise the binding remains strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
