About This Item
University Press, State University at Buffalo, 1968. First edition. A wonderful anthology in its time taking many tricks learned from Donald Allen's seminal anthology. Allen DeLoach learned well. Glorious early photographs of many of the poets including Ted Enslin, Ed Sanders, Ted Berrigan, Paul Blackburn, Diane di Prima, Allen Ginsberg, Robert Kelly, Diane Wakoski, Susan Sherman, L. Zukofsky. From a scholar's library with brief annotations to the text that include perhaps revisions, notes, additions to particular poems which may be helpful to the next reader.Very good illustrated stiff wraps with no writing on the spine. Seminal text.
