Fraying at edges of front cover, chipping and small tears. 1 inch chip at top right corner of front cover. Address label sticker at top of front cover. 1 1/2 inch fold down and tear at top right of back cover. Bits of paper sticking to back cover and light soil. Folding at corners inside. P. 1-2 is a portion of a paper read before the M.T.N.A. at Indianapolis by H.S. Perkins, The Musical Convention, Its Utility and Its Abuse. P. 2 there is a sketch of Henry Southwick Perkins. Songs include "Hail to Our Banner,""Soldiers, Stand Guard!", and "As the Hart Panteth" 16pp. 10,000 copies printed.
