London: Passmore and Alabaster fourth thousand cheap edition revised and altered, blue cloth decorated in gilt and black, spine ends rubbed, bevelled boards, minor soiling to boards, front hinge cracked and slightly loosened, frontis and title page a little surface dust soiling, all edges dusted red, rear hinge cracked. xii, 430pp +6 pp adverts. The preface to the third edition is dated 1888 so this is still probably 1890s era. tidy tight copy.. reprint. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by T H Thomas. 8vo - over 7? - 9? tall.
