Bound in contemporary quarter leather over marbled boards, gilt spine lettering, "Royal Observatory" and reference call letters stamped in gilt at lower spine. Contents mildly & uniformly age-toned as expected, else quite clean, no foxing or markings, no brittleness to pgs; binding & hinges firm. Board edges mildly rubbed w/ thin chip across upper spine, spine leather otherwise glossy & supple, gilt lettering sharp & bright. 343 pp. + 4 pgs of plates, for Satellites I - IV.
