Signed by the author opposite the title page, "Most sincerely Harry Truman." Introduction by President Truman's Council of Economic Advisers. Near fine in the rare original dust jacket which is price-clipped and in very good condition. Housed in a custom half morocco clamshell box within a custom slipcase. Uncommon signed. Composed of three memorable reports which President Truman made to Congress and the country - in January 1948, and in January and July of 1947, this volume provides a searing analysis of the conditions of business in the U.S. and a concrete program for ensuring American prosperity - all presented in simple layman's language with the assistance of the distinguished economists who comprised Truman's council of Economic Advisers.
