'Edes & Gill's North American Almanack' was a short-lived 18th-century almanac that covered basic almanac information such as sunrise and sunset times, eclipses, phases of the moon, etc. However, this particular almanac is notable for the inclusion of Pennsylvania Governor Benjamin Fletcher's 1692 commission to English royals William and Mary, one of America's founding charters (Wakelyn), also known as the Massachusetts Bay Charter.
A fascinating piece of pre-Constitution Americana with references to Plymouth, Portsmouth, and Cape Cod in the section on distances between principal American towns.
