About This Item

Set aboard the Great Transcontinental Mystery Race rail junket. The passengers include owners, jockeys, and thoroughbreds. The intent is to stop at various racetracks to test the horses, and a murder mystery game in between to amuse the upper crust passengers. But when the murder turns real, the game changes.

The cover has its collection of minor chips, creases and rubs, as to be expected of a used book read more than once. Owner's name inside front cover. Pages clean, bright, intact, and tightly bound.

Synopsis

A high-class, transcontinental horse-racing junket should be an idyllic getaway for the super-rich. But one passenger on this train is a sociopath, a genius at blackmail and criminal corruption—and he plans to take everyone for everything they've got.

About Turtleman Used Books

Thanks for visiting Turtleman Books. SALE! Month of March -- All Gardening and D-I-Y books are 15% off! Biography, Autobiography and Memoir, too!

Opened August 1st of 2022, Turtleman Used Books in Olympia, WA. Address is 108 22nd Ave SW, Olympia, WA 98501. Suite #4. This is a small shop, so some books may only be displayed online, others only displayed in the store. Come on by if you are in town. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

Many of my books are oversized. Rather than ask for shipping adjustments at the time of purchase, the list price for heavier books includes the excess shipping cost. All of my photographs are of the actual product, taken by my trusty little Kindle Fire. Currently we have about 2900 books offered for sale online, with more being added daily. Check back frequently to see what's new. -----
