Complete number line from 1 to 6; some edge wear to dust jacket with a few small tears and chips; otherwise a solid, clean copy with no marking or underlining.Umber cloth, 166pp, B&W photo frontis, B&W and colour reproductionsof artworks. Schoonover was a star pupil of the American artist Howard Pyle. He made several visits to the Canadian north in the early 20th century. The writings and the 85 paintings in this book represent an accurate recording of this northern frontier. choonover died in 1972, leaving behind more than 2000 illustrations. Cortlandt Schoonover is the son of the artist.
