Book Condition: Very Good; light wear to head, tail, and tips. No DJ. Green cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine; embossed lettering on the front board. Internal hinges are sound and not cracked or split. 380 pp 8vo. The selection of the editorials was difficult due to the expansive fields in which Mr. White ranged as an editor. At times he is Falstaff, then jester, then Puritan, then judge and sometimes teacher and friend. it finally became a personal and biographical study of Mr. White and of Kansas and finally became and editorial on life. A clean very presentable copy.
