This book comprises Part One of the sale (books with authors last names beginning with A - D). Book is blue-gray paper covered boards with black lettering on cover and spine. One inch chip to paper at top spine edge, wear and short closed tear at bottom spine edge. Clean book, binding is tight, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Beautiful black and white photographic endpapers (Newston reading in his lovely library in front of book; exterior photograph of Oak Knoll - his home - on rear endpapers). Frontispiece photo portrait of Newton. Book includes many images from items offered in the sale, including some in full color with tissue guards. Only markings in book are a few "price realized" numbers noted in soft pencil in margins. 230 pages. Dust jacket has edge chips and closed tears, but is quite clean and has a terrific photo of Newton standing in front of his book cases on front panel.
