New York: Simon and Schuster, 1983/1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Scarce as a set, Ambrose's definitive biography of Dwight D. Eisenhower. First Printings. 637, 750 pp. 8vo. Volume I dust jacket has minor scuffing with very light scuffing from shelf wear, price clipped, now in mylar cover. Volume II also has very light scuffing from shelf wear, is price clipped, , now in mylar cover. Light wear to boards and spine of each volume, Volume I has a Simond & Schuster remainder mark stamped in black at the foot of the text block. Both are clean and tight within.
