Stockholm: Tryckt i Kongl. Tryckeriet, 1797. Folio broadside, approx. 21" x 17", text in triple column in Swedish, French, and English; previous folds in quarters, else near fine. A handsome folio broadside in three languages concerning the administration of the Island of St. Bartholomew, a Swedish colony between 1785 and 1878 (the Swedish West India Company was founded in 1786). Comprises fees for different awards, citations, donations, certificates, translations, "journeys into the country," "entering a sea protest," "maritime passports," etc. and stating, finally: "For all these above mentioned articles the poor pay nothing." Minnesota, New York Public, and Harvard, plus one other in Sweden in OCLC.
