Folio, 35.5 x 26.5 cm. Enid, Elaine, Vivien and Guinevere were part of a series published by Moxon, illustrated by Dore. Enid is the Fourth Part of Idylls of the King. Nine steel engraved plates: according to the publisher, the engravings on steel from Dore's drawings, were executed at a cost of nearly six thousand pounds; the only publisher to commission Dore for steel engraved work. Backstrip extremity nicks, lower corners rubbed, mauve endpapers, owner inscription half title in small neat hand dated 1868, modest toning to first few leaves. Repair to lower backstrip.
