[Richmond, VA: np, 1861. Small broadside, 16 x 10 cm., text within a typographical border. A few small stains in the margins. An original campaign broadside for Jefferson Davis for Confederate President and Alexander Stephens for Vice-President. It also lists the Electoral Ticket for all the Virginia district representatives, and future Confederate General Roger A. Pryor who was running for the Confederate Congress. On the verso is a period signature of "C. F. Couch." Hummel 4664. Parrish & Willingham 6038. Jenkins 100:253.

Winchester, Virginia: [Robert H. Gallaher], "Friday Morning, February 14, 1862." Folio newspaper, single sheet measuring 18 inches by 24 inches folded once vertically forming four pages.
Old folds, lightly browned & foxed, tiny losses at fold intersects, brief youthful scribblings in ink & pencil in the margins, old ink signature in the top margin of page one & small rubber stamped mark in the bottom margin of page one, otherwise very good.
