About This Item

First Edition/Stated First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Near Fine or better dust jacket. An outstanding copy of this novel, Wolfe's 3rd published work; uncommon in this condition. This copy is in near fine condition with a square, tight binding, bright multi-colored lettering over white boards, and clean, white pages throughout; the book does show the common mild fading to the top stain, minor browning to the board edges, and a light push to the spine ends. Housed in a crisp and bright near fine dust jacket that shows some light rubbing to the ends and edges, and a couple of very small ink marks to the front flap, else fine. Overall, a highly presentable and collectible copy with a very sharp dust jacket; Not remaindered, not price clipped ($5.95 intact), not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.

Synopsis

Are you on the bus?  Tom Wolfe took a tour with Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters as they departed California and made their way across the country in a day-glo painted bus full of LSD and enthusiasm in the summer of 1964.
